Cal ID Rooms

Cal ID Rooms is our own native video conferencing, built directly into Cal ID on top of LiveKit.

Meetings open on your Cal ID booking link instead of redirecting guests to a third-party service, so the whole experience stays on your domain. Rooms are created on demand when the first person joins, and access is scoped to the booking — no standing room links to leak.

Conferencing is free on every plan — HD video and audio, screen sharing, and in-call chat.

Session recording is a paid feature, available on the Business and Enterprise plans. Any host on a qualifying plan can start a recording from inside the call, and finished recordings show up on the booking for its hosts to download. Recordings are stored securely and kept for as long as the host stays on a paid plan; after a downgrade to a free plan they're retained for 90 more days before removal.
